First time visiting Gent Jazz Festival?
Welcome, we’re always excited to see new faces! What exactly can you expect at Gent Jazz Festival?
The lush abbey gardens of the 13th century Bijloke site in Ghent create an enchanting setting for every music lover. With a drink (served in real glass!) in your hand, take a seat at a table next to the Garden Stage and discover promising new jazz talents. Thanks to the cashless system, you don’t need to queue at the cash desks and can recharge your drinking card directly via your smartphone. After a culinary stop at one of our carefully selected food trucks, you walk over to the Main Stage where you will not only admire major artists giving it their all, but encounter some of the future international headliners. Depending on the festival day, there will be seated concerts in various categories or standing concerts that allow for the better hip movements. Are you 26 or younger? Standing concert tickets come at a substantially reduced price! Children up to 12 can accompany their parents any day for only 5 euros, the little ones up to 3 get in for free.
As a festival with a sustainable vision, Gent Jazz Festival strives to be as waste-free as possible. We also encourage the use of public transport: your festival ticket allows you to take the tram and bus in Ghent for free.
