  • Two stages at Gent Jazz

There are two stages at Gent Jazz: the Main Stage and the Garden Stage. On the Main Stage, housed in a huge tent, you can see legends such as Diana Krall, Jamie Cullum, Brad Mehldau, Patrick Burel, Air and many others. Check the programme beforehand online via www.gentjazz.com/line-up. On the Garden Stage, you can enjoy more jazz and experimental sounds in the open air. During the festival, you will also find the full programme on screens and in the festival brochure.

  • Access to the festival

Once you have had your access ticket scanned, you will be given a wristband. Your band shows the colour of the category/zone where you can stand.

  • Food & drinks

Take a place at the welcoming tables in our garden or settle into one of the many sofas to enjoy our amazing range of food and drinks between concerts.  We serve a comprehensive range of drinks: from cocktails/mocktails to refreshing Omer beer, to perfectly served coffee and so much more. You’ll be licking your fingers and thumbs at the food stands from all corners of the globe: from Lebanese and Mexican to Belgian golden pride and so much more. Vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free diets and others are also catered for.

  • What can you bring?

    • If you carry a backpack, it may be checked. Weapons, drugs and dangerous items are obviously prohibited.
    • Your own food or drinks are also not allowed (there is a fantastic selection on site!)
    • A reusable water bottle is not allowed. There is a free water station on-site, where you can quench your thirst at any time. Cups are also available on-site.

  • Sun, rain and sound

    • Bring sunscreen or rain gear if necessary. The concert tent is covered but the side walls are open and most of the grounds, such as the Garden Stage, are open air. We are hoping for some Summer weather, of course, but you never know.
    • We do our best to provide crystal clear sound at a pleasant volume but earplugs are of course available on site.

  • Can I bring my dog?

Only guidance dogs are allowed on the festival ground

  • How can you pay during Gent Jazz?

During Gent Jazz, you pay for your food and drinks with the Gent Jazz payment card. You can charge the card with an amount of your choice at one of the various charging points at the festival. You can also use cash, bancontact and payonic to charge the card at the charging point. After the festival, the remaining balance on the card will be paid back to.

  • First Aid

Feel unwell or need help for someone who is struggling? The First Aid post is there to help.

  • Are there lockers?

There will be lockers at the site.

  • Are there sanitation facilities?

There are free restrooms, some of which are wheelchair accessible. Keep these facilities clean and be sure to speak to our staff if something is out of order. That way we will fix it quickly. Wild urinators can wait for their friends at the exit for the rest of the festival day.
